Educational activities

The Federation holds conferences and round tables to discuss important issues affecting the family, motherhood, parenting and other socially important themes, in collaboration with government agencies such as the Kyiv City Family Center “Rodynnyi dim” ("Family House"), Zhytomyr City Administration, Ministry of Defence.

WFWP members believe that harmony in the society will come when we all build strong families based on eternal values. This is not a short-term task, but the project of national importance that require concentration of efforts of state and public organizations.

 

On March 2017 and 2018, WFWP-Ukraine representatives took part in the Commission on Status of Women (CSW) in the United Nations, New York. CSW is the annual UN event that promotes gender equality and the empowerment of women.

 

On November 2-5, WFWP-Ukraine representatives took part in the European summit “Role of Women Leaders and Mothers to Facilitate Integration and Cohesion in Europe”. The summit took place in Portugal and gathered more than 120 women, active governmental and public figures from almost all European nations. The program started on November 2 with the session in the Parliament, National Assembly of Portugal.

We all know that Japan is a country with one of the strongest education systems. This is due not only to successful schools, because education starts with the family. What is the secret of Japanese education? It was the topic of meeting with parents and school teaching staff of "Euroland" gymnasium, held on May 17, 2016.

"Woman. Peace. Security" working seminar went on April 27, 2016 in the conference hall of Kyiv City State Administration. The event was organized by the Kyiv City Service for family and children, Kyiv City Family Center and the Women's Federation for World Peace.

At April 13, 2016, WFWP held a round table "Etiquette of a happy woman" in Euroland gymnasium. The event had a special guest: Natalia Adamenko - an expert on etiquette, director of the school "Etiquette school".

As one of the main objectives of the Federation activity is consolidation of women efforts in building a civil society, WFWP held a series of roundtables and meetings with women of Kyiv region. One of these meetings was the round table in Kashperivka village, Kyiv oblast, Tetiiv region, on 4th of January.
