Working with children

One of the main directions of the Federation activity is working with children.

Our acquaintance with friends from the humanitarian headquarters of the All-Ukrainian organization for internally displaced people continues for several years. Over the years, we have met with different people who have experienced stress from constant relocations. Physically, they are with us, but in their hearts they remain on that territory, where there may be no return.

In the past autumn holidays, the Women's Federation for World peace held another master class: "We are painting a picture with acrylic paints" for the children of the All-Ukrainian Organization for IDP.
The pizzeria "Vesuvio", located in the shopping center "Global", and its owner Oksana Kmelevskaya, opened its doors to us.

On July 18, 2017, at Charity Fund (CF) Caritas-Kyiv, headed by Director Roman Syrotich, a project for parents with children from IDP (internally displaced persons), organized with the support of the Humanitarian Headquarters of the All-Ukrainian Organization for the Forced Migrants and the Women's Federation for World Peace was held.

On May 27, 2016 "Euroland" gymnasium celebrated the last bell.
The three best graduates took part in the celebration greeted by about 40 first-graders.

At March 12, with the support of the children's Trampoline complexes "Skypark", NGO "All-Ukrainian organization of internally displaced people affairs" and Women's Federation for World Peace held a festive event "Carnival Fun" for internally displaced children.

New Year holidays went for WFWP members in pleasant chores. As part of the integration program for internally displaced families, we visited and gave a help to Ageev family that is raising four sons, and Anna Timchenko, who has a son with a disability Danil.

During school holidays, on January 6, with the support of "Oscar" cinema in the Dream Town mall, Women’s Federation organized "The Little Prince" cartoon session for 20 internally displaced children. When the children watched a cartoon their mothers had a small tea meeting with the Federation members and could talk about their lives, share their concerns and expectations.

December 20, 2015 in Kiev Svyatoshinsky socio-psychological rehabilitation center a Christmas party wad held for children of internally displaced persons from the combat zone.
