As one of the main objectives of the Federation activity is consolidation of women efforts in building a civil society, WFWP held a series of roundtables and meetings with women of Kyiv region. One of these meetings was the round table in Kashperivka village, Kyiv oblast, Tetiiv region, on 4th of January.
For several years the Federation is working closely with this wonderful village, whose head – Mrs. Larisa Stepanenko is a winner of the “Woman of the Year” award in the category “Woman – statesman.”
WFWP delegation presented its activities to the village community, welcomed all those who were present with New Year holidays and presented financial help to Tatiana Lukashenko – the girl with disabilities, our long-time beneficiary. Wonderful opera singer, winner of national and international competitions Mrs. Irina Persanova, delighted everyone with her songs.
And on January 15 representatives of the Women’s Federation took part in a meeting of women’s community of Boyarka City. The meeting became a valuable opportunity to share experiences, thoughts and plans with women who genuinely worry about the destiny of their city and take an active part in its life.
