WFWP in cooperation with the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and creative center “Mystetska svetlytsia” opened the International Exhibition of Artistic Works on September 28 “Day of the free and unconquered”.
The presentation took place in the Central District Library named by Ivan Franko in Kyiv. Despite the war-damaged windows, the establishment has not lost its value.
WFWP-Ukraine head of the board Mrs. Tetyana Kotseba congratulated participants of the event and honored them with gifts. Curator of the event and WFWP-Ukraine co-founder, art critic Valentina Efremova presented paintings by Ukrainian and European artists.
Artists who participated in the event shared their creative look at the dramatic events in Ukraine. Artist Olena Tolkacheva spoke about the birth of a series of drawings that she created day after day since the beginning of the war. How at night together with her husband and son they slept in the corridor of their apartment in Kyiv. And in the afternoon, she painted.
