Awards for the “Artistic Rays of Ukraine” festival and competition
Grand Prix for the winners of the 2nd international festival and competition
The NGO “Women’s Federation for World Peace” of Ukraine was a partner of the 2nd International Festival and Competition “Artistic Rays of Ukraine”, which ran from July to October 2025.
The initiator and one of the organisers of the festival is Lesia Korolyk-Boiko, head of the international organisation “Progress of Women Peacemakers in the Diaspora” (Italy), Ambassador of Ukrainian Culture and Art, Ambassador for Peace, Honoured Figure of Variety Art and a member of the Women’s Federation.
This year the festival brought together more than a thousand participants from 13 countries, covered 14 artistic categories and became a large platform for artists promoting Ukrainian culture abroad.
The event was held in cooperation with more than 25 civil society organisations from Ukraine, Italy, Spain, Greece, Hungary, Germany, Estonia, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Finland, Poland and the USA.
On 10 and 14 October 2025, participants in Ukraine were able to take part in the festival’s gala concerts.
On 10 October the gala concert took place at the Kyiv House of Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences. Despite a hard night of enemy missile attacks and strikes on energy facilities, participants and guests came to the event. Even when the lights went out in the hall and there was no power, the audience switched on their phone torches and applauded the performers. On 14 October the gala concert took place at King Danylo University in Ivano-Frankivsk.
For the best participants, the Women’s Federation prepared special crystal awards, the festival’s Grand Prix. They went to the Folk Art Ensemble of the Song Theatre “Ladonky” led by Svitlana Sadovenko (Kyiv) and the chamber choir “Kantemos” of the Church of Christ the King led by Ihor Demianets (Ivano-Frankivsk).
On 5 November in Madrid (Spain), the third crystal Grand Prix award was presented to the choir of the children’s vocal studio “Peredzvin” led by Liliia Tkachuk. The ensemble promotes Ukrainian culture abroad with inspiration; their moving performance of the “Hymn of Unity” symbolised the spiritual unity of Ukrainians all over the world.
The festival showed the unbreakable spirit of the Ukrainian people in Ukraine and abroad, who unite to celebrate Ukrainian art.
