Liudmyla Hrabovenko’s exhibition at the National Council of Women of Ukraine
A solo exhibition of Ukrainian embroidered pictures and rushnyky
On 7 November 2025, a solo exhibition of Ukrainian embroidered pictures and rushnyky (embroidered towels) by Liudmyla Hrabovenko, a private collector and member of the NGO “Women’s Federation for World Peace”, opened. Her works are on display at the office of the National Council of Women of Ukraine, of which the Women’s Federation of Ukraine is a member.
The exhibition was organised to preserve and promote Ukrainian culture and to support the emotional recovery of Kyiv residents, who suffer daily drone and missile attacks. It is open to the partners of the National Council of Women, about 20 women’s organisations.
The hand-embroidered pictures and protective rushnyky lift visitors’ spirits, unite Ukrainians and keep up their faith in Victory.
