Supporting Ukrainian villages
Support for internally displaced people and families hit by Russian shelling.
In early May, volunteers of the NGO WFWP travelled to villages in the Kyiv and Vinnytsia regions to support internally displaced people and families hit by Russian shelling.
They brought medicines, adult nappies and food. The situation in the villages remains critical: pharmacies and shops are closed, and houses and infrastructure have been destroyed by the fighting.
On the way to the village of Semypolky in the Brovary district of the Kyiv region, the volunteers saw that the village of Bohdanivka had been destroyed and was empty of people.
What is happening to Ukrainian villages and towns now causes great pain in our hearts. We hope that together with our international partners, in the struggle for the highest human values, we can bring peace closer throughout the world.
